The Race

Details about the race here.

Rhythm

TL;DR: rhythm lends consistency, so irrecgularities become obvious. But "breaking out" is hard.

You might be a rhythm runner if:

  • you end all your runs significantly faster than you start them, on accident.
  • you find yourself running your recovery runs too fast.

Yay bullet points work!

This past weekend I ran the California International Marathon, in Sacramento. I trained very hard for it, made a lot of sacrifices in daily life. I made marathon training a priority (which, coincidentally, lended efficincy, productivity, and consistency to my daily routine, as running tends to do..)

(this blog entry is incomplete.. maybe one day I'll finish it!)
